Exercise Stress Echocardiogram

The symptoms of cardiac diseases may not be obvious at rest. They become prominent during exercise when there is an increase in oxygen demand for cardiac muscles. Exercise stress echocardiogram is used to compare the differences of regional wall motion abnormalities and cardiac function before and after the exercise. This functional test is particularly useful in the diagnosis of coronary artery disease, as well as assessment for cardiac reserve in patients with heart diseases.

Note:

1. Please wear sports clothes and running shoes;

2. It is advised to take simple meals 2 hours before testing, then keep fasting.
