Dr. Angus Chan graduated from the University of Hong Kong and completed his Orthopaedic and Traumatology specialty training at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He subsequently obtained his professional fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the Hong Kong College of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Angus Chan serves as the Director of the Centre Medical Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Department. In addition to his leadership role, he is an Honorary Clinical Tutor for the Department of Orthopedics & Traumatology at the University of Hong Kong and an active member of the Osteoporosis Society of Hong Kong.
His clinical expertise encompasses a full spectrum of orthopaedic practice, having performed over 150 fragility fracture operations annually. Dr. Chan specializes in the care of elderly patients, with a particular focus on trauma, osteoporosis management as well as foot and ankle deformities. This expertise integrates seamlessly with the clinic's programs for cardiac and stroke recovery, offering comprehensive support for older adults.
